The Soup Kitchen Homeless Outreach

We are pleased to share with you the fruits of the ministry in the Holy Land in the city of Be'er Sheva, and the work of evangelization in the field of God, the charity ministry, "Bethlehem" ("House of Bread "). The Soup kitchen operates twice a week. In the soup kitchen we feed people, help them to solve the social problems of parishioners, give clothing to the homeless and needy, visit the sick, help new immigrants adapt to the country, and assist veterans in their needs. We also help cancer patients in their recovery after chemotherapy, and provide financial aid to the poor who are unable to pay for utility services: electricity, gas, water.

Always before lunch we read the Bible, pray for the sick and for other needs, share testimonies, which makes a significant meaning for faith in Yeshua, because we believe that first of all any man needs the love of Christ. As written in Matthew 9: 10-13: "And it came to pass as Yeshua sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples. And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto His disciples: "Why eateth your master with publicans and sinners?" But when Yeshua heard that, He said unto them: "They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. But go ye and learn what this meaneth: `I will have mercy and not sacrifice.' For I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."
